Treef-Er is an e-commerce website specializing in pre-rolled cones made from various types of papers and infused with different flavors. The Problem
Cannabis farms struggle to find a dedicated and user-friendly platform to explore a variety of pre-rolled cones. Existing suppliers often lack detailed product information and intuitive navigation, making it difficult for users to compare options such as different paper types (brown, white, hemp) and flavors. This results in a frustrating and inefficient selection process. Currently, customers cannot purchase online and must contact the business to place orders.
The Goal
Treef-Er aims to provide an optimal browsing experience for cannabis farms by offering a wide range of pre-rolled cones with easy comparison of different paper types (brown, white, hemp) on each product page. The website will feature an intuitive interface and nature-inspired design to streamline the selection process and enhance user satisfaction. In the initial phase, customers will be able to browse the catalog and contact the business to place orders, with plans to introduce an "add to cart" option in the second phase to enable direct online purchasing.
User Testing
At Treefer, following our initial design phase, we prioritized aligning our website with user preferences. Initially, each collection page showcased different colors. However, based on user feedback requesting easier comparison between colors and paper types, we refined our approach. Our prototype testing gathered direct insights into user behavior and preferences.
Users emphasized the importance of transparency and specific details, such as cone sizes, when selecting products. While competitors typically have separate pages for each collection color, our users preferred a streamlined experience where they could compare colors and different paper types effortlessly with just a few clicks.
This feedback guided us in optimizing our collection pages to enhance usability, ensuring a more intuitive and satisfying browsing experience for our customers.

Personalizing the User Journey
Our aim at Treef-Er is to optimize user engagement and simplify the shopping process for cannabis farms. We observed that many users were navigating away from our site without exploring the diverse options available in pre-rolled cones, potentially missing out on finding the perfect product.
To remedy this, we've introduced a personalized photo comparison section on each product page. Here, users can click on different buttons to compare various paper types and colors within our pre-rolled cone collections. This interactive feature empowers users to make well-informed decisions based on their specific preferences and needs.
By leveraging data insights and understanding user behavior, we deliver tailored content and recommendations. This personalized approach enhances user satisfaction and drives higher conversion rates, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience at Treef-Er.
